Άρχισε σήμερα η αντίστροφη μέτρηση για την ανάδειξη του τραγουδιού που θα εκπροσωπήσει την ΕΡΤ στον 56ο Πανευρωπαϊκό Διαγωνισμό Τραγουδιού της Eurovision, ο οποίος θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Ντίσελντορφ της Γερμανίας.
Στο Studio A των εγκαταστάσεων της ΕΡΤ στην Κατεχάκη, άρχισαν τα γυρίσματα της ειδικής εκπομπής, που θα μεταδοθεί την Τρίτη 15 Φεβρουαρίου στις 20.00 από τη ΝΕΤ και στην οποία θα παρουσιαστούν τα υποψήφια τραγούδια για τον ελληνικό τελικό. Η παρουσίαση της εκπομπής θα γίνει από τη Λένα Αρώνη.
Σήμερα, Τετάρτη 9 Φεβρουαρίου, γίνεται η μαγνητοσκόπηση των τραγουδιών του συγκροτήματος «Κόκκινα Χαλιά» και της Nikki Ponte. Αύριο Πέμπτη, θα βρεθούν στο στούντιο οι Αντιγόνη Ψυχράμη και Λούκας Γιώρκας feat. Stereo Mike, ενώ μεθαύριο Παρασκευή, τα γυρίσματα ολοκληρώνονται με τη Βαλάντω Τρύφωνος και το συγκρότημα «Τριημιτόνιο».
Η σειρά με την οποία θα παρουσιαστούν τα τραγούδια στην εκπομπή της 15ης Φεβρουαρίου, καθώς και τη βραδιά του ελληνικού τελικού, προέκυψε από κλήρωση, παρουσία των δισκογραφικών εταιρειών. Συγκεκριμένα, οι τίτλοι των τραγουδιών, οι ερμηνευτές, οι συνθέτες και οι στιχουργοί (με σειρά εμφάνισης) καθώς και οι στίχοι των τραγουδιών, έχουν ως ακολούθως:

Ο ελληνικός τελικός θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις αρχές Μαρτίου. Το τραγούδι που θα εκπροσωπήσει την ΕΡΤ στον πανευρωπαϊκό διαγωνισμό θα επιλεγεί κατόπιν ψηφοφορίας από το κοινό και κριτική επιτροπή, η ψήφος των οποίων θα μετρήσει εξίσου (σε ποσοστό 50-50%). Το τραγούδι θα διαγωνιστεί στον Πρώτο Ημιτελικό της διοργάνωσης, στις 10 Μαΐου στο Ντίσελντορφ. Στις 12 Μαΐου θα γίνει ο Δεύτερος Ημιτελικός και στις 14 Μαΐου ο Τελικός.
